An exceptionally rare and highly coveted crown produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of British occupation, graced by an incredibly merlot and rosé blend of tones over gunmetal surfaces. According to Pridmore, a 45 Piastre coin had first been provided for in the Coinage Order of 1900, though none were produced until this commemorative occasion in 1928.
