To convey an idea of relative values, the Standard Catalog of World Coins notes the next-scarcest date (1922) at a value of $120 in MS63, while the 1923-dated issue is valued at $1,400. While these figures are high at the listed grade, we do note that this coin previously sold for $1,495 including Buyer's Premium (Auction 231127, Lot 64080), a testament to the premium placed on such a strong representative of the issue.
