Kings of All England. Harold I (1035-1040) Penny ND (1038-1040) AU50 PCGS, Bristol mint, Aelfwerd as moneyer, Fleur-de-lis type, S-1165, N-803. Lis between two pellets variety. +ИLO | D RCEX, diademed, armored bust of Harold left, shield and scepter held before / ÆLF | ǷNRD (NR ligate) | [...]N | BRI •, voided long cross with limbs united at their bases by a circle enclosing a pellet; fleur-de-lis between two pellets in each angle. A very desirable and later type from Harold's brief reign as sole king of all England, a hearty argent patina over the surfaces accentuating the overall eye appeal.
