Great Britain
Edward III (1327-1377) gold Noble ND (1356-1361) XF Details (Mount Removed) NGC, London mint, Pre-Treaty Period, S-1490, N-1180. Crowned king with sword and shield standing facing in ship, a saltire before the king's name / Floriate cross with Є in central quadrilobe, cross 3 mm. Very strongly detailed for the grade, an ex-jewelry piece but certainly premium quality; Edward's portrait is superbly rendered, the legends almost complete. A charming example of this coveted Medieval denomination.
