George III gold Guinea 1798 MS62 NGC, KM609, S-3729. An exquisitely well-detailed guinea, both for the grade and for the type in general, hardly a trace of weakness present in the king's portrait and perhaps just the lightest reflectivity to the surfaces. While some minor chatter is present in the fields, this is hardly consequential when considering that very few Georgian guineas survive to the present day in this state.
