Philip V gold 4 Escudos 1744 Mo-MF XF45 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM135, Cal-250. Brass-gold with attractive clay red highlights embracing the devices and a considerable degree of luster remaining, particularly so on the reverse. This type and date are difficult to come by in better states of preservation, an observation borne out by the NGC Population Guide which shows only two examples certified finer.
