Netherlands
Utrecht. Provincial gold Imitative Rose Noble ND (c. 1600-1601) MS61 NGC, KM6, Fr-277. 7.53gm. A bold representative of the type, struck on a broad and lustrous golden flan near the turn of the century of what would later become known as the "Dutch Golden Age". The strike shows a light case of doubling, apparently isolated in the face of the standing figure. An overall beautiful example worthy of close collector attention.
