USA Administration Proof Peso 1908 PR63 NGC, Philadelphia mint, KM172, Allen-17.02. Only 500 pieces struck, and only proofs for this date. A deeply toned example with some mottling, displaying satiny luster and bold details. Very few friction marks are noted, which is quite unusual for these as originally they were not sold in any sort of protective packaging but were wrapped in thin tissue paper.
