Ivan III (Ivan VI Antonovich) Rouble 1741-СПБ XF40 NGC, St. Petersburg mint, KM207.2, Dav-1676, Bit-20 (R1). Obv. Laureate bust of Ivan III right. Rev. Crowned double-headed eagle, with orb and scepter and date above. Although most of the Ivan Roubles have been struck over an earlier Rouble, this example shows virtually no evidence of an undercoin. The strike is bold for the issue with light gray and russet patina. Only light marks are noted on this rare one-year issue.
