View of the monument celebrating the Millennium of the Russian State. This piece was issued to celebrate the opening of the Millennium Monument in Novgorod. In attendance was Alexander II, his son (the future Alexander III), and other family members. Bold relief, with reflective fields. Both sides exhibit medium coppery patina with light hairlines. Scarce in copper, this medal is extremely rare in silver. Housed in PCGS oversized holder.
