Obwalden. Half-Canton 1/2 Taler 1732 XF Details (Tooled) NGC, KM27, HMZ-2-733b. A well-struck example of this very rare issue with handsome old collection toning. The Details designation seems to refer to scratches and light smoothing of the lower field of the shield as there appears to be no patently obvious reengraving elsewhere in the ornate details of the types. An intriguing piece that is rarely offered for sale.
