Confederation Franc 1851-A MS65 PCGS, Paris mint, KM9. A coin with shimmering luster, the fields sparkling with an attractive sheen. To the eye the strike is perfect, razor sharp and crystal clear, the only obvious defects being that by the time this coin was struck the obverse die had begun to falter, with light die-cracks appearing parallel to the rims. A wonderfully handsome piece that is a pleasure to hold.
