Barghash Ibn Sa'id Riyal AH 1299 (1881/2) MS61 NGC, KM4. Mintage: 60,000. A lustrous argent offering dressed in a light silver patina, the handling notably mild for the grade and confined to gentle wisps in the fields, hardly discernible except under close inspection. The only crown-sized issue of Zanzibar and a highly collectible type thus. Sold with old Public Auction Sale tag, dated June 4-5, 1971.
