Philip II Cob 8 Reales ND (1574-1586) P-B AU55 NGC, Potosi mint, KM0005.1, Cal-158. 27.32gm. The single finest of the type seen to-date by NGC, with the next finest being an XF45. Very rarely found so well preserved, the appearance surprisingly "regular" for the method of manufacture with strong central details, only a minor die shift on both faces reminding the viewer that this is a cob.
