PROV • FOL • COTISA • | IhΛ • IhR • CICL • RЄX, crowned, mantled figure of Jeanne standing facing beneath a Gothic dais, sword in right hand, scepter surmounted by Hand of Justice in left / +XPIC (rosette) VInCIT (rosette) XPIC (rosette) RЄGnΛT (rosette) XPIC (rosette) IHPЄRΛT, cross fleury with crowns and lis alternating in angles, all within quadrilobe with croisette in center; lis in spandrels. Sixth Type. A lesser-seen feudal type the clearly draws its inspiration from the contemporary coinage of Charles V. A bit unevenly struck, though still almost fully legible with a micro-granularity to the surfaces.
