(clover) FRANCISCVS: DEI: GRACIA: FRANCO: REX, crowned royal shield with sunburst above / (clover) XPS: VINCIT: XPS: REGNAT: XPS: IMPERAT, cross-fleury, F in first and fourth quarters, lis in second and third. 5th type, 3rd emission (from 21 July 1519). Displaying either a flip-over double strike, or struck over an earlier piece. Highly appealing for the assigned grade, especially considering the striking error, with only very minimal friction detectable and little evidence of the noted bend.
