With the name and titles of Ferdinand II. x MO x NO x AV x EPISCO x CVR, crowned, nimbate, and mantled half figure of St. Luke facing, gospel in left hand, scepter in right / FERDINANDVS • II • DEI • G • R • IM • S • AGV, cross on globe over double-headed eagle, crown above. Several degrees scarcer than the goldgulden minted in the name of Matthias according to Richter and Kunzmann, rarely preserved outside of low base grades. This is the first example with Ferdinand's name fully written out we have been able to locate. Sold with tag of Dr. Hans Nussbaum, Zürich.
