OTTOMAN EMPIRE: Osman II, 1618-1622, AV sultani (3.44g), Halab (Aleppo), AH1027, A-1358.2, Damali-HP-A1, "cud" at the right on the obverse, caused by a small piece of the obverse die breaking off before the coin was struck, choice VF, RRR. All sultanis of Osman II are very rare (except for the Egyptian mint Misr, only moderately rare), and seldom appear at auction. There are no examples of Halab Osman (Uthman) II on CoinArchives.
