GREAT MONGOLS: Chingiz Khan, 1206-1227, AV dinar (3.47g), ND, A-1964, very crude strike, the ruler's name appears in the third line of the obverse text, al-khaqan / al-a'zam / (chin)giz khan, crude strike as usual, with about 30% flatness, crude VF, RRR. This appears to be an unpublished style for gold dinars in his name. It is either without mint name, or with mint name off flan, either at the bottom of the reverse or in the obverse or reverse margin. We could not find a die-match to any other example on CoinArchives or Zeno.
Estimate: 1,000-1,300 USD
