ILKHAN: Abaqa, 1265-1282, AR dirham (2.76g), Tabriz, AH(6)78, A-2128.1, star at the top of the reverse field, about 25% flat strike, VF, RR, ex Christian Rasmussen Collection. Struck in the last year of the heavy dirham (2.88g standard), which was struck AH674-678; the dirham was reduced to about 2.52g at some point during the year 678. This is the first recorded heavy example dated 678.
