TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (77.77g), Robinson-, 73mm, knotted dragon right with long protruding pointed tongue, 6-point rosette below with vertical center // different 3-line Burmese legend, still undeciphered (except the bottom line, which is 361 ma), unpublished & extremely rare, very bold casting, differs from lots Lot 1863 and similar examples in this auction primarily by the rosette arrangement, probably unique, choice EF-AU, RRR. Differs from Robinson Plate 9.1 by the rosette and the previously unknown Burmese legend. Examples of this new type for the heaviest group thus far reported, weighing 77g to 86g.
