TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (40.99g), Robinson-, 68mm, mythical hintha bird facing left, with tail rising above and holding a 3-leaf branch in its beak, 12 pellets below the beak & 15 pellets beneath the tail // stylized Burmese text, based on Robinson text B1, but with square Burmese letters, fantastic piece with traces of original luster, especially on the obverse, unpublished and extremely rare, lovely AU, RRR. Unique type, without the Burmese phrase on the obverse & with a total of 27 pellets on the obverse.
