TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (40.59g), Robinson-, 69.5mm, mythical hintha bird facing left, with tail rising above and holding a 3-leaf branch in its beak, 8 pellets below the beak & 10 pellets beneath the tail // stylized Burmese text, based on Robinson text B1, but with square Burmese letters, cast with a rather primitively engraved obverse mold, unpublished and extremely rare, EF-AU, RRR. Unique type, without the Burmese phrase on the obverse & with a total of 18 pellets on the obverse.
