TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (37.44g), Robinson-Plate 10.2/10.4, 63mm, completely stylized image of the "dragon on sea", without "head" and "tail", 2 weak Burmese letters above, with the waves portrayed as dots (23 dots in 3 rows) // 3-line Burmese legend, extra letter at the top and 3 pellets below, superb full casting, bold EF, R. Although this is a relatively available Tenasserim large coin, it comes in a bewildering variation of the quantity and arrangement of the dots representing the ocean waves.
