TENASSERIM-PEGU: Anonymous, 17th-18th century, cast large tin coin (38.21g), Robinson-Plate 10.2/10.4, 64mm, image of what is intended to be the "dragon on sea", but completely stylized, with the waves portrayed as large dots (20 dots in 3 rows) // 3-line Burmese legend, excellent example, with just a touch of porosity on the reverse, choice EF, R. Although this is a relatively available Tenasserim large coin, it comes in a bewildering variation of the quantity and arrangement of the dots representing the ocean waves.
