PATALUNG: tin bia (9.10g), Pridmore-224, in Chinese, nan pang t'ung pao (money of the Southern State) // in Thai, pata lung, with traces of two Chinese countermarks, several flan cracks, Fine. This type was first published by Adolph Weyl in 1891 and was likely cast for a number of years creating many varieties. According to W.W. Skeat in 1899, 400 bia = one dollar, as told to him by the Siamese Governor of Patalung.
