UNITED STATES:3-coin proof set, 2017, National Park Foundation private issue Theodore Roosevelt "Rough Rider" bullion series, gold ½ & 1 troy ounce, silver 1 troy ounce, in custom wood case of issue and COA, all graded by NGC PF-70 ULTRA CAMEO, set of 3 coins, R, ex Jerry D. Williams Collection. The 2017 Theodore Roosevelt "Rough Rider" issues are struck in .9999 fine gold and .999 fine silver; each proof has been officially authorized by the National Park Foundation in cooperation with the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site. These were struck at the British Royal Mint and John Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver at the U.S. Mint, was commissioned to sculpt original plaster models of both dies. The mintage is less than 300 sets.
