Tunisia Banque de l'Algerie 1000 Francs 3.11.1942; 4.9.1946 Picks 20a; 26 Two Examples PMG Very Fine 30; Very Fine 30 Net. This interesting comparison lot compares two of these large format types from the 1940s. Both were issued by the Banque de l'Algerie, but have different "Tunisie" indicators. There are also other subtle differences between the two types as well. The 1942 example is problem free, and the 1946 note has minor thinning and rust mentioned for accuracy.
