Canada Toronto, ON- Crown Bank of Canada $5 1.6.1904 Ch.# 215-10-02 PMG Fine 12 Net. One of only about six known examples from this short-lived and very rare issuer. The 1904 5 Dollars is the only banknote released by this bank, as it was absorbed by the Northern Bank of Winnipeg in 1908 to become the Northern Crown Bank. Repaired tears have improved the overall appearance of this extremely rare note. Heritage has had the privilege of auctioning the two finest known examples of this very rare type, and with this example offered here, we can say that we have handled 50% of the known surviving banknotes from the Crown Bank of Canada. https://currency.ha.com/itm/world-currency/canada-toronto-on-crown-bank-of-canada-5-161904-ch-215-10-02-pmg-fine-12-net/a/4015-28321.s?type=CoinArchivesCurrency4015 HID08706262019 © 2019 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
