Syria Banque de Syrie et du Liban 50 Livres 1947 Pick 60 PMG Choice About Unc 58. An incredible large sized higher denomination in issued form. The first date of 1947 can be seen, together with an overprint stamp of the Syrian Republic coat of arms, and "Ministry of Finance" in Arabic. Due to the large sum of money this denomination represented at the time, and it only having circulated for two years, it is highly unusual finding it in any grade, let alone in this About Uncirculated condition. This is the first time we have offered this variety, and it is graded top on the PMG census, of only three graded examples.
