The note in dark olive-green on multicolour underprint featuring portrait of King George V at right and Coat of Arms at left on obverse and the reverse depicting Captain Cook's landing at Botany Bay on 29 April 1770 after his extensive navigation of New Zealand with his ship "HMS Endeavour".
