ЗA | BЗЯTIE | ПAPИЖA | 19 MAPTA | 1814 in five lines, within a wreath. 29mm diameter, 2mm thickness, in silver by F.Tolstoy, 10.33 grammes, Diakov 375.1. The issue of the medal commenced in 1826 and continued until 1832. It is believed around 160,000 pieces were minted, the medals being awarded to officers who fought in the taking of Paris in 1814. The medal was worn on the combined ribbons of the Order of St. George and the Order of St. Andrew, GVF toned with loop mount attached
