MOESIA SUPERIOR, Viminacium. Aemilian. AD 253. Æ (26mm, 9.70 g, 6h). Dated CY 14 (AD 253). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Moesia standing facing, head left, holding vexillum(?) and scepter; to left, eagle standing left, head right; to right, lion standing left; AN XIV (date) in exergue. H&J, Viminacium –; Varbanov –; AMNG I –. Dark green patina, scratches, smoothing. Fine. Rare variety with eagle instead of bull to left of Moesia. Unpublished in the standard references.
