SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 14.38 g, 12h). In the name and types of the Seleucid king Philip I Philadelphus. Dated year 29 of the Caesarean Era (21/20 BC). Diademed head of Philip I right within fillet border / Zeus Nicephorus seated left; monogram to inner left and below throne, ΘK (date) and thunderbolt in exergue; pellet above Zeus' arm and two pellets behind his waist; all within wreath. Prieur 22; McAlee 23d (this coin illustrated); RPC I 4145; SC 2491.19d; HGC 9, 1360t. Toned, some porosity. Good Fine. Very rare, five known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
