SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 14.90 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate and cuirassed bust right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, star above crescent. Prieur 237 (this coin); McAlee 690. Toned, some porosity, a few light cleaning scratches. Good VF. Extremely rare, two known to Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
