A note from BCD: The Prowe collection had an unusually high percentage of Greek rarities of which the most interesting were illustrated. In this first portion, the Roman Provincials were mixed with the Greek and included some large sized coins. Medallions were also to be found in the Roman section, together with some contorniates.
