A note from BCD: Apparently during the last decade of the 19th century, Egger's stock of Greek coins was so plentiful that the company had no difficulty in putting together a fixed price list of 1800 lots. An even more extensive list of mediaeval and modern coins was issued in the same year. The two lists, bound together, provide interesting information on what was available at that time in central Europe.
