g William IV (1830-37), gold Sovereign, 1832, second bare head right, nose points to second I in legend with flat top ear, W.W. incuse on truncation, GULIELMUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F: D:, toothed border around rim both sides, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, ANNO 1832 below (Bentley 28; Marsh 17; S.3829B). Toned, with patch of colour and fine tooling marks in field before face, a few other lines on cheek, has been graded by NGC as obverse repaired, otherwise the detail of this coin renders it extremely fine.
