George II (1727-60), silver Crown, 1743, older laureate and draped bust left, legend surrounding, GEORGIUS.II. DEI.GRATIA., toothed border around rim both sides, rev. crowned cruciform shields, roses in angles, garter star at centre, legend surrounding, M.B.F.ET.H. REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T ET.E., edge inscribed in raised letters, DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO REGNI. DECIMO. SEPTIMO, weight 30.13g (Bull 1667; ESC 124; S.3688). Toned, extremely fine with a sharp portrait.
