† Victoria (1837-1901), copper Half-Farthings (2), 1844, with E struck over an N in REGINA, 1851, the 5 struck over a high 5 or 0, young head left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIAR: REGINA F: D:, rev. crown over three line inscription with date, emblems curving below, weights 2.22g, 2.37g respectively (Peck 1595, cf.1597; S.3951). Both toned with some lustre, more so on the second piece, both extremely fine to good extremely fine and rare varieties. (2)
