India, Ahichchatra kingdom of Pancala. Agnimitra III. Ca. 2nd century A.D. Æ 1/2 karshapana (9 mm, .43 g). Lamp flanked by standards, all resting on sacred pedestal / Brahmi legend (A)gnimitra(sa), with three Panchala dynastic symbols above. Not listed in Mitchiner. Very rare. .
This small denomination was issued by a later king called Agnimitra III. They are quite different in style and fabric to the coins of Agnimitra I recorded by Mitchiner.
