Watch List notes:

Cyprus, Uncertain. Early 5th century B.C. AR stater. Ram walking left, upon which an ankh symbol is superimposed / Laurel branch with bud at top, and a leaf and fruit on each side; anchor to left, Ξ and ankh-like symbol to right; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Zapiti & Michaelidou 2 (lacking controls on rev.); cf. Asyut pl. 32, N-O; CNG E432, 101 (same dies). Very rare. Heavily worn obverse die as is the case with all examples of this issue, the reverse quite nicely struck and with the rare subsidiary controls. NGC Ch VF, strike: 3/5, surface: 4/5.
