A lovely Harappan jar from the Indus Valley, ca. 2500 - 1800 B.C. This beautiful vessel with flared rim is 3-1/4? in diameter and is decorated with a pair of tigers, separated by plants and set off with bands of geometric and linear designs. In excellent condition, with strong paint, red highlights and good mineral deposits. Value range: $250 - $400.
