A rare Spanish signal cannon, ca. late 16th to mid 17th Century A.D. This choice bronze example is 3-1/2? high, 3-3/4? in diameter and is heavily encrusted. These were used to signal ship-to-ship or ship-to-shore. Rare find! Value range: $250 - $400.
