CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 450-440 BC. AR Nomos (22mm, 7.87 g, 7h). Taras riding dolphin right, both arms outstretched; cockle shell below / Oikistes seated left, holding distaff and scepter. Fischer-Bossert Group 12, 185 (V91/R133); Vlasto 193 (same obv. die); HN Italy 845. Toned, porous and some granularity, scratches. Fine.
