PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Gaza. 2nd-early 1st century BC. Æ (21mm, 4.45 g, 1h). Dated year 10 of the Pompeian Era (52/1 BC). Turreted and veiled head of Tyche right / Eagle standing left, palm frond over shoulder, on thunderbolt; symbol to left, L[I] (date) to right. Farhi, Cleopatra, Type 2; Rosenberger II, 11; HGC 10, 588 DCA 544. Green-brown surfaces. Fine. Very rare, Farhi notes only nine examples.
