Banco de Portugal, 500 Escudos, 29th September 1942, serial number CJ 11386, brown-violet and green on multicolour underprint, Cherubs at centre, D. de Goes at right, reverse, pulpit in Coimbra's Santa Cruz church at centre, (Pick 155), appears about uncirculated, but shows signs of slight pressing.
