The East African Currency Board, 100 shillings, Nairobi, 1 December 1921, serial number A/3 92416, lilac and pale green, George V top right, value top left, centre and at each corner, signatures of Mercer, Bottomley and Kershaw, reverse dark pink, Mount Kenya and lion at centre, value at each corner, (Pick 16a, TBB B212b), in PMG holder 64 choice uncirculated.. Spink sold an example of an A/4 in PMG 15 ex Ruth Hill and Alan Pickering recently. Extremely rare in issued format and the grade spectacular for type.
