The East African Currency Board, 200 shillings or £10, 15 December 1921, serial number A/1 19253, dark blue on pale blue and multicolour underprint, George V at top right, value at top left, low centre and corners, signatures of Mercer, Bottomley and Ezechiel, reverse blue, Mount Kenya and lion at centre, (Pick 17a, TBB B213a), in PMG holder 63 choice uncirculated, tear, staple holes. Although in recent times there have been a few examples of the rare specimen 200 shillings there are no listings on Track and Price for an issued example and the cataloguer knows of no other issued examples, this a fabulous discovery note.
