Palestine Currency Board, £5, 1 September 1927, serial number A129060, black and orange on green and pink underprint, Crusaders Tower at Ramleh at left, reverse orange, Tower of David at centre, completely original paper with a lovely fresh feel, well embossed serial numbers, three vertical folds and very minor handling, thus extremely fine. The 1927 date is extremely rare in any grade, and this is surely one of the finest examples ever to come to market. Absolutely superb.
